Our Mission
Rambling Hill is a full service horse boarding and training facility. We offer training for western pleasure, ranch and reining horses. We also offer training for horses that have yet to be started. Our mission is to provide a safe and fun environment that all riding levels can enjoy.

We are deeply committed to preserving the timeless traditions of Western riding. Our facility serves as a beautiful home where local heritage meets exceptional care, providing a peaceful space for riders to grow a true partnership with their talented horses.
Lauren Stone grew up in Mexico, Missouri, and developed a passion for horses from an early age. Throughout her career, she has gained experience showing in Western pleasure, ranch, and reining, while also working with a variety of breeds.
Lauren earned her bachelor’s degree in Equine Science from William Woods University. During her time there, she completed internships with Jim Dudley Quarter Horses and Zimmerman Performance Horses under the guidance of Terry Wegener.
Her experience extends beyond the show ring, as Lauren has worked as a groom for several trainers, including Alan Clanton and Jim Lowry, whom she accompanied to the 2021 World Championship. She continued to expand her knowledge and horsemanship skills by training with Ann McGruder and working with a private breeder, where she gained valuable experience.
After years of gaining experience and learning from accomplished horsemen and women, Lauren took the next step in her career and established her own facility, Rambling Hill TM. Today, she continues to pursue her passion for developing horses and helping them reach their full potential.
